Our company

A forward thinking farm
with old traditions

Morals, values, age old practices and traditions guide our everyday lifestyle. While we may all have smart phones in our pockets, we do the same work our family did a 100 years ago.

We still swing an axe to cut our wood, and harvest our eggs by hand. We practice organic cultivation and sustainable practices, so we’ll leave behind nothing than our memories. We protect our traditions by practicing them, and invite you to practice them with us.

How It was

Our History

The Bender family sells their previous farm in Snohomish Washington in an effort of exploration to find their forever home. After a few pit stops in Idaho, they eventually migrated to coastal Oregon and fell in love with the scenery.

The farm is purchased! Just when the Benders thought they would never find the perfect place, they happened upon Toledo Oregon, and found exactly what they were looking for. After some negotiations, and a lot of work, Little Beaver Creek Farm was founded in October 2016.

Once the winter storms blew past, the Bender’s began the first projects of making the property a working farm. Chicken coop restoration, fence building, house repairs, road leveling, blackberry removal… you name it, they had to do it! Once the farm was operable, the animals started to arrive.

Little Beaver Creek Farm makes their first sale! In early 2018, LBCF sold their first dozen eggs to their neighbor just down the street! Soon after, they began splitting and selling firewood in preparation for the long winter ahead.

Big changes in 2019! This year the farm introduced our listing to AirBnb! Now travelers from all over the world can relish in LBCF’s abundant beauty and splendor. LBCF offers a unique experience for people of all ages. The Bender also purchased honey bees, and a log splitter to increase firewood production.

Coming in 2020! LBCF Therapeutic and Competitive Vaulting Program. LBFC is currently raising funds to become the only vaulting program in Central Oregon. LBCF Honey! We introduced a honey bee hive to the farm in early 2019 and expect to make our first honey sales in 2020. Contact us to get on our honey list for next year!

Testimonials

We care about our customers

We had one of our most memorable family vacations at the Benders. Our girls who are 13 and 11 had never experienced “camping” and loved everything about the RV and property. We enjoyed going on morning walks around the property and camp fires in the evening.

If i could give them more than 5 stars I would! Don’t let a trailer scare you, its big and roomy. But the property it sits on is beyond amazing. Felt like a trip into the rain forest. We wish we had more time to spend just exploring the area. Truly beautiful.

Very special experience for a couple. If you like quite mornings and nights, animal sounds and be around many trees, then this is the place for you. Thank you so much.
